HealthCare Partners of Nevada has an immediate need for a Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team in Las Vegas. HCP practices a Coordinated Care Model, incorporating an entire network of doctors, nurses, specialists, care managers, diagnostic team members and others who all work in sync to help our patients stay healthy.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with electronic health records systems, and exhibits flexibility as this position requires seeing walk-in patients. Essential Duties
*Assess and treat adult and geriatric patients and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (MDs, Physician Assistants, nurses, dietitians, social workers) regarding their care.
Initial and ongoing diabetes education and training on different aspects of diabetes management and use of diabetes devices.
*Respond daily to phone calls and emails regarding clinical care.
*Review insulin pump and glucose downloads.

Position Details
*Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
*Avg Daily Patient Census: 18-20 patients/day
*Practice at multiple locations
*Must be comfortable with managing controlled substances, chronic/complex/multi conditions and such as diabetes
*No Call

Requirements
*Current Nevada P.A. license
*Certificate of completion from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
*Current Nevada DEA certificate required prior to start date
*3 years of experience
