FNP / PMHNP

A full-time opportunity exists for a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care in the DMG Division of Psychiatry at the MIHS Desert Vista Behavioral Health Center in Mesa, Behavioral Health Annex in Phoenix.
The ideal candidate is someone with a strong interest in caring for patients with a serious mental illness with the skills and desire to practice primary care in collaboration with the behavioral health teams at this site (psychiatric care is provided by a team of psychiatrists and other behavioral health professionals). Medical consultation to the nurse practitioners is provided by the Internal Medicine Attending staff within DMG.
Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are also recruiting additional providers to staff our newly renovated location in Maryvale, as well as a provider to work full time providing vacation coverage at all three facilities. There will be the opportunities to work additional hours for extra pay on weekends.
Employment would be through District Medical Group Inc. (DMG), a multi-specialty group with 400+ providers exclusively contracted to provide patient care and teaching at Maricopa Integrated Health System.

Candidate must have an Arizona NP license, outstanding interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic. Previous clinical experience preferred.
