NP Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Dallas TX

Position Summary:

The practitioner functions as a health care provider within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) specialty service for the purpose of providing age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care.

This position is open to Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The practice will involve care and management of patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) specialty setting. Care will include performing admission H & Ps, plan of care and day-to-day management of NICU patients. Practitioner will manage (in collaboration with the attending) the entire inpatient course. Practitioner will initiate referrals and follow up on consults to other providers.
This position will require credentialing through our Medical Staff Services Department.
