Summary
This position as a Psychologist has responsibility for providing psychological services to patients of the Medical Center in the area(s) assigned to him or her by the Chief of Compensation & Pension (C&P). Specific duties include the following functions: (1) C&P psychological assessments (2) education and training (3) all other duties assigned by the Chief of C&P.

Responsibilities
The Psychologist provides psychological assessment services on C&P patients. Psychological assessment may involve interviewing or testing of patients or both. The Psychologist informs other staff members of the types of problems for which psychological evaluations would be beneficial. He or she selects the optimum battery of tests or procedures to gain the appropriate information in each case. He or she oversees the administration and scoring of psychological assessment procedures, interprets and reports the findings of the evaluation into CAPRI (C&P computer based evaluation program). He or she may serve on Medical Center committees or VISN 11 committees at the Chief of Staff's request.

The Psychologist will perform all other duties assigned by the Chief of C&P, even though they may not be outlined above, as long as he or she can do so without violating ethical standards.

Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
