Join the senior practice and regional leader for Pain Management in Northern California. The Napa Pain Institute (est. 1992) seeks a Nurse Practitioner who is, or is committed to becoming, a leader in caring for patients with chronic pain and related neurological conditions.
As part of our team, Nurse Practitioners are central to the patient experience and to the patients’ clinical outcomes. Our NPs apply diagnostic and treatment skills including interventional procedures (some with ultrasound guidance), management of implanted devices, and care coordination.
Since 1996, the Napa Pain Institute has been a leader in clinical research for pain medicine. We support continuing education and professional development for all of our staff, and organize annual CME conferences in Napa (www.napapainconference.com) and Kaua’i (www.kauaipainconference.com). There are abundant clinical research and teaching opportunities in our organization.
Today, the specialty of pain management is exploding with opportunities to help our patients. At the Napa Pain Institute, we carefully establish the right diagnosis, coordinate the care of many involved providers, offer minimally invasive interventions, place implanted devices (neuromodulation) for pain, and safely manage medications of many classes for the treatment of symptoms related to chronic pain.
