About the Organization:
Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) is a small, state-of-the-art, inpatient psychiatric treatment facility that provides a safe environment for adults in acute psychiatric states. With 16 beds, the hospital offers an array of services in a community based setting. Our mental health treatment and programming utilizes a person-centered framework. We routinely involve the patient, their family and multiple community resources in treatment planning and implementation. The interdisciplinary treatment team includes a psychiatrist, nurses, advanced practice registered nurses, psychologist, social workers, and rehabilitation therapists. In our small hospitals, the average length of stay is around 30 days, and admissions average about 1 per day.
About the Opportunity:
The highly motived and talented Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses at Rochester Community Behavioral Health Hospital, provide outstanding primary health care which is comprehensive, continuous and individualized in collaboration with the Medical Director, consulting physicians and other health care professionals assigned patients. Nurses also provide professional input as an affiliate member of medical staff. In addition to providing education and training opportunities to staff and clients as requested by the Medical Director. Advanced Practice Nursing opportunities include full-time, part-time, and intermittent positions to work either the rotating day-evening shift or overnight shift.
