New opportunity exists for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Bloomington, IL.
Preferred candidates will have Acute Care Certification (ACNPC), Certified Nurse Specialist Certification (CNS) or equivalent critical care certification; critical care experience and the ability to effectively collaborate with physicians and co-workers in providing exceptional care to our patients.
Collaborate with employed OSF Multi-Specialty Group Pulmonary-Critical Care and Sleep Physicians in the Constant Care unit, a 24/7 E-ICU monitoring service located in Peoria, IL
Admit patients to ICU overnight and provide consultation on pulmonary patients as well on the step-down and general medical floor
Responsible for placing central venous catheters and arterial lines, admitting patients, evaluating patients in the ED and accepting appropriate transfers from outside hospitals.
Ideal schedule would be three nighttime 12-hour shifts per week with a team of two nocturnal advanced practice providers, thus covering six out of seven nights per week
