Responsibilities
This is an open continuous announcements to fill vacancies on an as needed basis. A list of applicants will be sent to the selecting officials two (2) weeks after the opening date and as needed thereafter.

Possible vacancies in our facility are in the following areas: 7 North, 7 South, 8 North & 8 South.

Duties are but not limited to:

Accountable as the primary nurse for a defined group of patients for an assigned tour of duty.
Demonstrates technical and operational knowledge and is able to apply these skills in the clinical setting.
Operates specialized therapeutic and life support equipment.
Collaborates with physicians and ancillary services.
Provides patient teaching as appropriate.
Analyzes and upgrades patient care through quality improvement activities.
Monitors activities occurring within the department when acting in the charge nurse capacity.
Strives to maintain clinical competencies through continuous study, in-services and participation in obtaining continuing education units.
Based on education and experience, may be assigned responsibilities as a preceptor or relief charge nurse.
Demonstrates integration of biopsychosocial concepts, cognitive skills, and technically competent practice in providing care to clients with simple or complex needs.
Administratively responsible to the Nurse Manager and responsible for other team members, i.e. RN, LPN, NA. Performs other related duties as required by Nurse Manager.
Work Schedule: 7:30pm-8:00am, 3:30pm-12 Midngiht, rotating weekends and holidays
