Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner
Due to growth of our Hospitalist service, we are seeking to recruit several experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners to join our Hospitalist team at Springfield Hospital in Springfield PA.
Members of our inpatient team provide comprehensive services through admission, hospitalization and discharge, including the care of patients in our observation unit. You’ll have responsibility for assessment and management of patients including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and the day-to-day implementation and evaluation of an appropriate plan of care.
This is a highly autonomous position and practitioners should welcome the opportunity to work independently while developing effective interdependent relationships with members of the medical staff.
Requirements:
Must have a PA license and be a graduate of an accredited masters nurse Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program and eligible for credentialing by the hospital board.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an advanced practice role.
ACLS certification, prescriptive authority and DEA required.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with ordering and interpreting labs, EKG’s and radiology studies.
