| Description | Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa has an excellent employment opportunity for a full time Certified Nurse Practitioner to join a group of experienced providers and staff located in Mason City, Iowa. Mercy Advanced Wound Center is located in the new Mercy Vascular Center on the Mercy East Campus in Mason City. The Wound Center is an outpatient program that focuses on chronic and non-healing wounds. Utilizing advanced treatment modalities and a case management model, patients are helped to improve the quality of their lives. In partnership with physicians, nurses and multiple medical disciplines, invaluable care is provided for patients. The qualified candidate will be a graduate of a Masters of Nursing program with current licensure in the state of Iowa as an Advanced Practice Nurse. An additional certification in wound care specialty and treatment is required and a demonstrated competency as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner through previous experience is preferred. The selected candidate must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges.
