PA Cardiology Garden City NY

The Physician Assistant/Cardiology PP Garden City location uses his/her clinical expertise to plan the delivery of safe, therapeutic, population-specific patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. With the patient and family central to the care, incorporates the unique characteristics and needs of each patient and family member into the plan of care. Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program, required.

License/Certification: Current NYS registration, required. Certified by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants, required.

Experience: Relevant cardiology experience, strongly preferred.

Skills: Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills.

Other: Ability to be credentialed consistent with the Medical Staff by-laws, required. Must be completely credentialed before starting position
