PA / NP ENT East Texas

We are seeking a mid-level/advanced practice provider/nurse practitioner to join our busy ENT practice in the beautiful piney woods of Tyler, TX. We have recently moved into a beautiful 25,000 square foot facility and serve our community & surrounding area. We are owned and operated by 6 Board Certified Otolaryngology Physicians, and we currently have 1 Physician Assistant, 1 Nurse Practitioner and 7 full time Audiologists on staff. Our new facility has an Allergy & Sinus center and a hearing aid sales department named SoundLogic. We will soon expand regionally, offering vast opportunities to more surrounding areas as well. ENT experience is an asset but not required. We are willing to provide specialty training to an ambitious and qualified candidate. New Graduates are welcomed to apply. After a specified training period, the expectation is as follows:

Perform history and physical exams

Order and interpret lab and diagnostic studies

Educate and counsel patients

Develop appropriate treatment plans

Coordinate care with primary care providers and other specialists

Perform procedures including but not limited to the following: flexible nasopharyngolarynscopic exams; rigid nasal endoscopic exams; cerumen removal; epistaxis control; foreign body removal from ears and nose, biopsies from ears, nose, and oral mucosa

Shared call coverage with a physician on a rotating basis

Shared in-office Allergy oversight coverage on a rotating basis

Our ENT Sinus & Allergy Center helps to diagnose and treat patients who suffer from sinus pressure, nasal drainage, chronic sore throat, itchy and watery eyes; and also provides comprehensive allergy testing.

Full-time, licensed audiologists under the supervision of board certified ear, nose and throat board certified physicians staff our Audio-vestibular and SoundLogic Hearing Aid Center. Our testing facility allows us to evaluate balance disorders and hearing loss in patients of any age. We can even perform hearing tests for newborns when necessary. Hearing loss is often due to a medically or surgically correctable problem, and our physicians are ready to help. If hearing aids are recommended, our audiologists can provide hearing aids from any reputable manufacturer. They are trained to fit the most appropriate aid for an individual, not the most expensive one.
