| Description | Medicine and Long Term Care Associates, Providence/Cranston, RI, is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner to join 3 MD with 5 NP/PA, Internal medicine/ Geriatrics practice in beautiful Rhode Island. The position would include working primarily in post-acute care rehab and long term care facilities. There is also the option of working in a NCQA level 3 PCMH recognition primary care doctor’s office. There is the opportunity of hospital in-patient rounds and, optionally, learning/practicing medical aesthetics. We provide excellent continuity of care by following patients in post acute care, rehab nursing facilities, assisted living, office and during their hospital stays. Our dedicated team currently consists of four physicians and five PA/NPs. We work and collaborate with Professional group- ProHealth and Evercare/Optum. Our practice spans both urban and suburban neighborhoods in Rhode Island, including but not limited to Newport, Kingston and Warwick area. We serve a large and varied patient population. We are 30 minutes from Scenic Newport RI, 50 minutes from Boston, and three hours from New York, conveniently located. We offer competitive compensation with great potential to grow, health insurance, malpractice insurance coverage and relevant CME. The position can be Full Time or Part Time (24-32 hours per week).
