| Description | Gundersen Health System - Prairie du Chien seeks an experienced orthopedic PA/NP to grow a General Orthopedics/Sports Medicine service in Southwestern, WI. You will partner with La Crosse Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Athletic Training and Physical Therapy to build upon an established orthopedic presence. Duties may include outpatient clinic visits, OR equipment set-up, first assisting, rounding with in-patients, emergency evaluations, post-op checkups. The PA/NP will support Orthopedic Surgeons with histories, physicals, casting, splinting, evaluations, treatment planning and post-op care. The PA/NP will work cooperatively within a team centered environment. You will be joining a physician-led, top-ranked teaching hospital and one of the largest multi-specialty group practices with nearly 800 physicians and associate medical staff. Telemedicine, specialty outreach, electronic health records and digital imaging connect Gundersen Health System with our many regional clinics, affiliate hospitals and clinicians. A Wisconsin license with required education as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is required. |
