Gillette is looking for a Physician Assistant to join the Craniofacial Team in St. Paul, MN!


This role provides comprehensive care to patients with complex medical conditions in a family-centered model, consistent with the mission and philosophies of Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare and in accordance with professional practice standards. In collaboration with the physicians and advance practice providers, the PA-C will assess, plan, and perform clinical care (inpatient, outpatient, and surgical) for patients with a variety of craniofacial and plastic needs.


The PA-C role with the craniofacial team will encompass the following components


* Operating Room (OR) First Assisting


* Outpatient clinical care, including routine travel to outreach clinic sites


* Inpatient patient management and care coordination (with a team of advanced practice providers)


* Weekend rounding and call (shared with team)


This position is a 1.0 FTE. Hours/Shift: Mainly Monday – Friday, weekend rounding and call shared with other team members along with some routine outreach travel.


Ideal candidates for this position will be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Program and certified at the time of hire. They will hold a current CPR- BLS for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association, have demonstrated skill in interpersonal communication, organizational and leadership skills, the ability to function independently and demonstrated competence in working with infants, children, adolescents with disabilities and their families.
