Our very busy Family Practice office located in SW Littleton, Colorado is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team of Family Practice providers. Our clinical team is a group of 7 providers, made up of 3 MD's and 4 PA's providing excellent care to families in a private practice setting (not hospital or corporate owned). Pinon Family Practice is well established in the Litteton area, seeing patients for over 20 years.


The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat both acute and chronic medical problems, provide wellness/preventative exams and education, refer patients to appropriate specialties/imaging, work closely with specialists to decrease gaps in care, meeting with vendors to hear the latest and greatest in medcations, specialists, community resources and then have the abiltiy to apply that to your practice and patient base...etc... We see all ages, 0-100 in our office. He/she will independently see approximately 15-20 patients per day, full time at four (4) days a week (40 hours per week) and cover weekend call every 7th weekend. The ideal candidate will not only have excellent clinical skills, but be fun, interactive, professional and have the ability to connect and partner with each patient and family regardless of their demographics (age, LGBT, race, ethnicity etc....). We hold Medicare and Commercial contracts and do not participate in Medicaid at this time.


Our provider teams are working very diligently in Clinical Quality Measure performance and providing value and cost data based on our performance both as a group and indivudually. We are participing in MACRA-MIPS. We are in the process of implementing Behavioral Health Integration into our daily workflow to provide both physical and mental health benefits to our patients. Gov. Hickenlooper recently named us a "healthcare innovator". Additionally, we were recently named one of our ACO's top 3 practices (of nearly 100 participating practices) that reached a 100% score for maintain cost, value and prevention measures. Requirements
Must have current PA-C and DEA licensure. Must be able to diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
