Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Park Slope Center for Mental Health is seeking a nurse practitioner with psychiatric experience ow a psychiatrist to join our team. Bilingual Spanish / English speakers are preferred but not required.

Conduct initial patient evaluations and take detailed medical histories
Diagnose patients based on symptoms and prior psychiatric history
Prescribe medication and monitor effectiveness, provide psycho-education about diagnoses and medications prescribed, and collaborate with therapeutic and supervisory team as needed.
Park Slope Center for Mental Health is a community based outpatient mental health clinic that has been in existence for 24 years and serves clients throughout Brooklyn and the five boroughs. We provide psychiatric treatment, play therapy, individual therapy, family and couples therapy, parenting work, group therapy and medication management.
