Available todayBefore You Review an Applicant
Depending on the clinician’s profession, location and information provided, the application may include:
- State professional-license status where an official supported source is available
- HHS-OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities screening
- Available state healthcare exclusion-list screening
- SAM.gov exclusion screening once the approved connector is enabled
- Résumé and employment history supplied by the clinician
- Clinician-selected credentials shared from their Compliance Wallet
- Uploaded BLS, ACLS or other professional certifications when supplied
Every result is source-specific. “No match found” means that the selected source returned no matching exclusion record for the information searched; it is not a guarantee, complete background investigation or universal certification of the clinician. SAM.gov exclusions are screened once that connector is enabled.
Additional onboarding capabilities plannedAfter You Select a Clinician
Provider Matching’s Compliance Wallet is designed to help the clinician and employer organize the additional items required for onboarding. Requirements vary by employer, role, state, work setting and employment classification.
- Government-issued identification
- Employment references
- Criminal background screening
- National Sex Offender Registry and federal criminal search
- Drug-screen documentation
- State professional-license verification
- BLS or other role-specific certifications
- Employer-required health and immunization documentation
- Workers’ compensation documentation when applicable to an independent contractor
- Additional employer-specific onboarding requirements
These onboarding workflows are not operational today. Provider Matching does not order criminal background screening or drug screens, does not contact references, and does not determine anyone’s fitness for employment. Where a third-party report is required, who orders it and under what disclosures remains to be decided.
