What you’ll do

Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and physical exams

Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions under the supervision of a cardiologist

Interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and lab results

Educate patients and families about cardiovascular disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment plans

Document all patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)

Assist in hospital rounds and coordination of inpatient to outpatient transitions (if applicable)

Participate in practice quality initiatives and team meetings

What you’ll bring

Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in New York State

Certification as an NP or PA required (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, etc.)

Cardiology experience strongly preferred, but new graduates with strong interest in cardiology are encouraged to apply

Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
